Bhumi Pednekar on how her debut film changed her life

Bollywood Actress Bhumi Pednekar, rose to fame with her smart plus-sized girl role as Sandhya in 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'. The National Award winning movie changed her life and will always be special to her.
Bhumi reminisced the movie on its two-year anniversary recently. The film is based on a boy named Prem played by Ayushmann, a school dropout, who marries an intelligent but overweight girl, Sandhya. The pair finally gets close when they take part in a race.
The pair is soon going to come together in 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan', a rom-com directed by R.S. Prasanna. Bhumi will also be soon seen with experienced superstar Akshay Kumar in the satirical'Toilet- Ek Prem Katha'. After her triumphant debut with 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha', Bhumi has been picky about her movies but she says her career is going as per her design because she required the time to shed off those extra kilos and get back into shape.
