Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's upcoming Tamil magnum opus 2.O directed by S. Shankar is apparently almost ready. The director revealed that a song and some patchwork are the only pending portions. The remaining song featuring Rajinikanth and actress Amy Jackson will be shot next month. The sequel to 2010 Tamil blockbuster, features Rajinikanth in dual roles - a scientist and a robot with Akshay Kumar as the antagonist, and Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain.
