Pooja Bhatt opens up about her alcoholism

Pooja Bhatt began drinking at the age of 16, too young to ever imagine it could become an addiction, but it did and she recently opened up about it.

68 days sober, she is happy she stopped when she did or it would be impossible for her.
Being raised in an Anglo-Indian environment, it was normal for wine and beer opened to circulate at the table. Also living in a fast paced city and being in Bollywood, it was normal to add some champagne for celebration and a malt for failure.

She also says that having an alcoholic as a father makes you susceptible to becoming one too. But papa Bhatt who quit year ago was eventually the reason that Pooja reconsidered her life choices and live her next years fully.
