Rajat Kapoor will do anything for his film to see the light of day

Rajat Kapoor's Ankhon Dekhi (2013) struggled to see the light of the day due to lack of a producer. In fact it was only after only Rajat tweeted about his struggle that producer Manish Mundra backed the film.

And now in a total Deja Vu situation, the same is happening with same is Kapoor's next.
Even though Ankhon Dekhi bagged several awards and garnered immense critical acclaim, Rajat is struggling to get someone to back his latest scripts.

He believes that despite being a greatly loved film, the box office result was poor which is why nobody is willing to invest in his film. He is frustrated that people only see the returns and don't make something they believe in. He is now desperate enough to beg, borrow or steal, mostly steal, he jokes because begging and borrowing is not working, but he will make his film this year.
