Imtiaz Ali reveals that SRK is still a theater person

Director Imtiaz Ali, who is collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time, admires his lead star for still being in touch with his theater roots.
Shah Rukh comes from a theater background and studied acting under theater director Barry John while in Delhi. Imtiaz also participated in plays while studying in Hindu College.
Imitiaz revealed that they spoke a lot about their theater days in Delhi. Imtiaz did not expect that SRK would still be in the habit of performing in the way he was expected to perform in theatre.

During the promotions of his last film Tamasha, Imtiaz had spoken about turning the film into a play and the director revealed it is a dream project for him.
The scenes with the joker and the robot especially would make for an interesting play.
