Aamir Khan refused a role in Sanjay Dutt's biopic

Sanjay Dutt's biopic has given us a slew of exciting gossips and this next piece involves Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. Apparently, the actor was approached to play Ranbir Kapoor's father in the film. Moreover the Dangal man was int talks to play Sunil Dutt's character but it later went to Paresh Rawal.
When Rajkumar Hirani went to meet Aamir Khan, a comedy of errors happened. Aamir met with the director and writer Abhijat who began narrating the role of Sunil Dutt to him, the actor was shocked. Aamir was under the impression that he was being offered Sanjay's role and he was not interested in playing the role of his father.
But after playing a father in his recent biggest blockbuster ever, we wonder if he had a problem playing Ranbir's father!
