Konkona Sen Sharma starer 'Lipstick under My Burkha' which was apparently too crass to get a certificate from the censor board has bagged the Audience Award at the Glasgow Film Festival 2017. While the producers continue to struggle for its release in India, the film was honored by being the only prize given out at the festival. The director Alankrita Shrivastava said that this award gives her hope and strength to continue telling such stories and be undeterred by those who want to quiet us.
