Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's next film based on a social cause

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra last film Mirzya was adud, but the director has moved on and has taken up a social casue as his subject. Titled Mere Pyare Pradhanmantri, the film will support PM Modi's Clean India campaign.
The story of the film will revolve around an eight-year boy Kanhaiya who wants to make a toilet for his mother.
Rakeysh spoke about this film during the Brahmputra literary festival in Guwahati and also claimed that the profits of the film will go in the favor of country to make public toilets.
Rakeysh has done three years research on this project and says that he wants to base the story in the north-east because it has been uncharted territory.
