Varun Dhawan did not vote in the elections and is mighty upset

The BMC Elections 2017 were being conducted on 21st February and while most celebrities used their platform to promote civic sense to their fans, Varun Dhawan was a no show at the election. Mumbaikars were casting their votes in hopes of a better future and were joined by celebrities like Ranveer Singh, John Abraham, Shraddha Kapoor and Anushka Sharma who also participated in the polls.

Apparently, Varun's name was missing from the voter list and hence he wasn't allowed to cast his vote. Incidentally, his brother, filmmaker Rohit Dhawan, had his name on the list and was able to vote. Varun revealed that he was rather upset by this and he found it strange since his name was on the list last time.
The actor believes in exercising his right to vote and had even flown in from Jaipur early in morning to participate in the BMC elections. Varun was in the Pink city to promote his upcoming film - Badrinath Ki Dulhania
