Taapsee Pannu is on a role, after her two releases Running Shaadi and The Ghazi Attack, she is now promoting Naam Shabana. The sequel to Akshay Kumar starrer Baby will feature Taapsee as the lead spy agent and is the first spin-off film in Indian Cinema.
Naam Shabana is based on the same character as Tapsee's cameo role in Baby. Akshay Kumar spoke about the film saying that while many movies show missions, this movie is about how to be a spy.
Taapsee is doing lots of action scenes in the film, to the point that co-star Akshay Kumar felt like he has nothing to do the movie. Set to release on 31st March 2017, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumar, Manoj Bajpayee, and Eli Avram.
