Rangoon hits the editing table again, this time by the makers!

Its merely days before its release and the Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, and Saif Ali Khan starrer Rangoon that the makers of the film decided to revisit the editing room. Its rather unusual for filmmakers to willingly cut out scenes from their film, but that is what Vishal Bhardwaj, Sajid Nadiadwala and Viacom 18 plan to do. The censor board already awarded the film a U/A certificate after replacing three words.
Vishal has decided to cut the movie short, earlier the film was 2 hours 47 minutes long and now it has been cut into 2 hours 7 minutes.
The makers took this decision when they felt that the film is very long and the audience may feel more comfortable with a shorter version, especially the younger generation.

Producer Vishal Bhardwaj, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Viacom mutually decided to cut the length of the film at least more than a half hour.
