Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has joined Whatsapp to promote her upcoming movie Phillauri in a way of connecting with her fans every week.
Anushka Sharma has shared a number on social media through which the fans can talk to Shashi her character from the film.
. During the promotions, this number will be used continuously as a new marketing strategy and a platform to constantly update the fans.
The chief marketing strategy office of Fox Star Studios, Shikha Kapoor is constantly trying to come up with different ways to connect with the audience and Whatsapp seemed like the obvious choice after the film released a song called Whatsapp from the film today.
The number has been registered under the name of Shashi and Anushka will talk to her fans through Whatsapp calling. The film is going to hit the screens on 24th March 2017.
