Ministry of urban development has chosen actress Anushka Sharma to be a part of a nationwide health and sanitation. So now Anushka will take care of cleanliness in villages and towns by stopping open defecation. She will also take lead in women-centric aspects.
The ministry has selected her for her popularity among the youth and women. She is apparently a favourite in rural areas thanks to her boyfriend Virat Kohli. Also, she stood for women empowerment in her film Sultan which made her an apt choice for this role.
