Raees beats Kaabil in opening collections

Raees and Kaabil are finally out and if the opening day numbers are anything to go by, it seems that Raees is taking the lead. While Rees opened with 60 percent occupancies in the morning shows, Kaabjl opened with only 25 percent occupancies for morning shows.
Kaabil and Raees were looking to take advantage of the Republic Day weekends. But despite the weekend, word of mouth plays a huge role on the collection. Even though Raees is ruling the box offiice right now, Kaabkl seems to be the better film. Raees has even done better than Dangal in single screens. So maybe Kaabil has a rough road ahead but it could jump ahead with word of mouth.
